After successful completion of 10th/SSLC/SSC/CBSE/ICSE there are many options in front of us to step in. Of course there are state and central govt. jobs on 10th qualification, maximum children choose further education for a good career.

• A.P.R.J.C ( AndhraPradesh): For admission in government intermediate colleges.
• Polytechnic/CEEP: For admission in government polytechnic colleges.
  India, the students have many career paths to choose from. Here’s the list of the following streams the students can opt from:
• NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation):For diploma in various domains.
  
  • Intermediate/PUC/11th & 12th : It is a 2 year course. For any govt. jobs the minimum qualification is this PUC. Ofcourse there are jobs on 10th qualification but very less compared to PUC. This stage is very important where we decide our career path. This PUC consists of four domains they are:
    • Science
    • Commerce
    • Arts
    • Vocational Course
    • a. Science: It has career choices in two courses which are Engineering and Medical Sciences. In Engineering, you need to understand concepts while in Medicine, you need to memorize them. Engineering requires analytical thinking and grasping power while Medicine requires memorization and learning skills. The common subjects for these two courses are Physics, Mathematics Chemistry, Sanskrit and English. If you choose Medicine over Engineering then the subject offered other than the above mentioned is Biology. For taking up Engineering you should take up MPC and for Medicine you should take up BiPC.

    • b. Commerce:
      The two main subjects of this stream are Business Studies and Accountancy which every student has to study and other two subjects are optional. Students can choose from Math, Statistics, Economics, to History, Geography, Political Science, etc. for those two additional subjects. The courses for which students can apply after Commerce stream are B.Com, BBA, BMS, BBM, CFA, CA, ICWA, CFP etc. There are many other streams to choose from other than the above mentions streams

    • c. Arts:
      In the arts stream, there are many fields to choose from. This stream offers subject such as English, Hindi, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit and Sociology, for the higher secondary level. But one has to opt for four compulsory subjects in addition to English and a Modern Indian Language. If you are interested to pursue a career in Mass Media, Journalism, Literature, Languages, Sociology, Social Service, Human Psychology, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Resources, Economics and history this course is apt for you.
      
    • d. Vocational courses:
      The courses in this stream are Interior Designing, Fire and Safety, Cyber Laws, Jewelry Designing, Fashion Designing and more.
      
    Entrance exams after PUC/Intermediate/11th and 12th:
    • EAMCET: Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. (AndraPradesh). Likewise each state is having its own entrance test for engineering and medical admission in private and government colleges under state government. For example in Karnataka it is KCET.
    • AIEEE: All India Engineering Entrance Exam.
    • IIT-JEE: Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam ( For Engineering in IITs)
    • Each private university will conduct entrance exam for admission in B.Tech. For example GAT (GITAM Admission Test)
  • Engineering Diploma: 3Years (Polytechnic) This Engineering diploma will be having an advantage of one year industrial training i.e., final year of diploma. You can get jobs in private as well as government sector on this diploma qualification. You can get jobs in private as well as government sector. Another advantage is you can directly join the second year of engineering after this diploma in the corresponding stream.
  • I.T.I (Industrial Training Institute): Short term course on different skills. An ITI trained student can do diploma and higher studies. And even he can work in companies where his/her skills required. Or else he/she can make own private business based on their skills.
  • Defense Academy: If you are having a dream of serving country in defense sector the first step can be taken here. You can join in any defense academy for intermediate. You will get trained for defense sector jobs along with intermediate education. And as well as you can prepare for a degree entrance in NDA (National Defense Academy).
  • Police constables, army, navy and other government jobs: There are various opportunities on 10th qualification under state and central government. In state government Assistants, Clerk (LDC), Attendant, Driver, Constable, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, Junior Assistants etc opportunities are available. In army and navy soldier metric level opportunities are available.

  • Engineering Education leads towards the technical world where you can find various jobs in IT, Hardware Design and Development, Networking, Telecom, Electronics, Firmware, Testing, Product Engineering, Quality Analysis fields in State & Central government companies like BEL, ECIL, DRDO, NAL, HAL etc., and MNCs like Honeywell, Microsoft, Bosch, Intel, HP, Toshiba, Broadcom, SAMSUNG, PHILIPS et., and also so many Indian based companies.
  • Medical Education leads u to become a doctor, surgeon or specialist in a particular area of treatment. U can get job in government hospitals, private hospitals national and international. Or u can run your own clinic or hospital.
  • B.Sc and M.sc in job wise equal to engineering and medical, but with less priority. This education will help to the aspirants who are enthusiastic in teaching field. Of course Engineering and Medical domain graduates also can find a job in education field.
  • Engineering

      • Along with GATE and PGCET each private university will be having their individual Entrance exams for PG entrance.

  Defense:
  • Aspirants who are interested in Defense to work as an officer technical or non-technical they may complete any graduation in Engineering and Arts can apply.
  • NDA-I & II exams will be conducted every year by central government, SSB technical & non-technical and UPSC exams will be conducted every year.
  • Any graduate and Post graduate can work as a professor in particular domain.
